A popular American actress from the Sixties at 6'3", big Nancy Kovack was mainly unforgettable for the males my age for the role of Medea in the fantastic action/fantasy movie Jason and the Argonauts. In this production her screentime is much shorter than the past, however there is no doubt that the dance number she danced in is among the most memorable scenes. In addition, to make it even more memorable, some say that Honor Blackman was commissioned to play the role of a Bondgirl probably because they wanted her vocals to be subbed in a British accent. Nancy Kovack, with her smouldering eyes and unbelievable cheekbones is easily recognizable in films of the past. Kovack didn't appear to have a problem rubbing shoulders with Tarzan, Batman, the Three Stooges, Vincent Price, Dean Martin, Captain Kirk or Elvis Presley, all great historical icons. I'm sure you can appreciate. So what was it about Nancy Kovack? Her characters' solid determination? Did it be her beautiful figure that made Nancy so popular?
