Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22nd, 1984 at New York City New York. She is an American singer/actress whose range has gained her recognition across a range of types of films ranging from thrillers and adventure films to period dramas. Johansson grew up living in New York City as the daughter an architect and an executive from a production firm. Hunter, her twin brother, and she were the youngest of four kids. In her early years, she began performing. Actually, at the age of 7 she was already auditioning for a number of commercials. Following a short period her studies began in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Later on there was a Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. When she was a kid Johansson was in Sophistry together with Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North in 1994. Like many other actresses starting out, she decided to perfect her art in the realm of theatre. She also worked in other initiatives across the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her debut on stage show. She graduated from her Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
